We provide home care services that can help extend independent
livelihood for needy patients who cannot be brought to the clinic. Our team of
volunteers will carry out periodic visits to patient homes for counselling and
appropriate intervention.
Palliative care is most often given to the patient in the home as an
outpatient, or during short-term hospital admission. At home, the patient may take
medicines and use other methods prescribed by the homecare team. We conduct regular home
visits under the home care programme as a follow-up action to check the condition of
patients and provide them solace.
Our Goals of Care
To provide in their subsequent bereavement.
The goal of home care is to help people maintain and maximize their
independence.
To provide support to help the family during the patient's illness
Ideally, it should facilitate a person being able to remain as independent
as possible for as long as possible in the setting of their choice – their home.
Clearly, independence can mean different things in different circumstances.
